The Lord’s Prayer
Full description is blank enter something.
I have at last finished reading – or, I should say, praying – your remarkable work on the Lord’s Prayer. The work is remarkable not only for the erudition and sweep of mind which it evidences but for the spirit which illuminates and informs the whole. So I offer not only my respectful congratulations on the work but, more importantly, my thanks for its inspiration. One reason why it has taken me so long to complete the reading is that I took to using it as a bedside evening prayer – rather like a few verses from “The limitation of Christ”. In particular, your writing on the kingdom is deeply moving and theologically challenging.

This work, which requires no specialist knowledge of law or technology, would form an ideal text book for General Studies. Nor should any Head ignore it.

I think it is wonderful that you have attempted to extract from the Lord’s Prayer the basic principles of international relations and international law which are of immediate relevance to the problems of our modern day … I have always believed in the importance of making religion and the practice of it part of our daily lives…
