This networking exercise, brought together many organisations who are in the field volunteering, and who work for and/or with organisations committed to promote volunteerism in provinces. These individuals will now act as the focal points [as the members of provincial subcommittees] for the National Steering Committee to Recognize, Promote, Facilitate and Network volunteerism in a provincial context.
The IYV+10 Provincial Subcommittees will act as supporting bodies and provide guidance and coordination at provincial level for IYV+10 volunteering activities in Sri Lanka.
